These policies detail how to handle treatment of patients. It includes sections on geriatric, emergency, pediatric & special needs patients.
. . . I've been working as an associate dentist with my mother for years. She is an incredible practitioner who taught me a great deal about proper patient care, quality - oriented dentistry & leadership. . .
However, I couldn't help but notice how overworked she was with things outside of clinical dentistry. A lack of proper protocols & systems meant that she was doing much of the heavy lifting to keep the office afloat.
I knew that we needed an office manual & set out to create the best version possible for our dental practice . . .

When building the manual, I knew I wanted to focus on two primary components: CONTENT & DESIGN
It's incredible how much content is required to build out a comprehensive employee manual.
We included 50+ policies which review items including harassment, probationary periods, proper workplace appearance, electronic devices . . . this list goes on & on.

I also wanted something that would be easily consumed by my employees.
Most manuals are so dry & provide your staff with an experience that can only be equated to a trip to the DMV.
I focused on creating clarity through my design using contrasting colors that POP & clearly delineating sections that differed from one another.
When I gave the staff the manual, something amazing happened. Rather then baulk at the idea of the manual, they were receptive at the idea of being more organized.
They were grateful to see policies that highlighted things they work hard for like vacation time, sick days & bonuses.
Ultimately, it brought my team together & hopefully it will have the the same impact in your office!

YES! You first need to create a FREE account on Canva. You will then use a link to access the template & you can modify this template on any computer as long as you are logged into your Canva account.
They both have the exact same content . . . . In the beginner guide, you can only edit the photos & the text. In the advanced guide, you can edit everything (i.e. colors, objects, design). This is meant for a more computer savvy user. . . With the purchase, you will receive both templates.
